Proof of concept of additive manufacturing technology for composite materials

We are developing a revolutionary technology for the production of continuous fibre reinforced composites. We combine traditional processes with innovative additive manufacturing principles. This technology enables the production of high strength parts, even for shapes that cannot be conventionally machined or cast. We use well-known liquid resins to produce composites, creating products that are known for their lightness, strength and resistance to corrosion and chemicals.

Our innovative technology delivers benefits such as controlled reinforcement to tailor deformation during application, the ability to reinforce holes, and the printing of hollow structures that reduce weight without compromising strength. Thanks to a sophisticated process where the fibres are saturated with resin and then UV cured, we can achieve free-space tensioning of the fibres without the need for supports. Our technology represents a significant step forward in composite manufacturing, combining modern additive processes with proven industrial materials.

The development of the technology has been carried out in several phases. First, we are validating the concept on a simple positioning system, similar to a 3D printer design. Once we optimize the print, we move on to multi-axis systems, such as a robotic arm, and focus on further material development. Our goal is to create composites that are even stronger, chemically resistant and equipped with other necessary properties for demanding applications. We bring solutions for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing with endless reinforcement and molding possibilities.
